These instructions apply to: Data matching and data cleansing
Step 1: Download the sample CSV file
Note: Our data matching system will only accept files that match the sample CSV
Choose Data extract list, which goes to the ‘Submitted Application Results’ screen
- Select View in the ‘View details’ table column, which goes to the ‘Contract’ screen
- Find the item if there’s multiple items in the list, making sure the Type is ‘Data matching’
- Select the Setup run button in the ‘Actions’ column
- Click the Download sample CSV button
Step 2: Prepare your data spreadsheet
- Paste your data into the sample CSV, leaving the headers intact
- Save the CSV
Step 3: Upload your data
- On the Data matching screen, click the Choose file button
- Click the green Save button to upload your prepared CSV file
Step 4: Run the data match
- Click the Run button on the Data matching screen
- Wait for the results – we’ll email you when they’re ready. This could take up to 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of your data set.
Understanding the results
Our system evaluates all the data fields you provide for each record.
The results for each record will be one of:
- Full match: 100% of the data you provided matches with our data
- Partial match: slight discrepancies, with 90% confidence that the data matches
- No match: less than 90% confidence of a match
